Sybase started XML processing support in ASE from release 12.5.1.
From 12.5.1 to 15.0.2, the XML feature has been constantly evolving.
Broadly, the XML support comprises of native storage of XML, XML
indexing, XML Schema/DTD validation, XPath query processing and
relational view of XML data using XMLTable. In this talk, we will
present the overview of XML functionality.
We will also show many simple examples that will make it easy for
the audience to start using XML support in ASE. Finally, we will
have a Q/A session where audience can also point out to their future
requirements
